Starting the Year off the Write Way! Day 3

It's Day 3 of my writing lesson challenge and considering I ignored my blog all summer, I say "Yeah for me!" I decided to write a new lesson for today focusing on the trait of ideas and content. My lesson is called Focus and Zoom In.

I compare writers to photographers to show the importance of being focused and zooming in to include details. I put this lesson into a Smart Board format which I posted on TeachersPayTeachers for free.  But now that I've done that, I'm thinking it would be better in a Powerpoint format. What's your preference? Smart Notebook or Powerpoint?

You can get the Smart Board lesson if you click here and go to my TpT store. If you're just interested in the information, you can click here for a Google doc.

Happy writing!

Hi Debbie,
I wasn't able to open the Smartboard lesson. Can you give me your Teacher Pay Teachers site and I can go there directly? Thanks, Christine

I have never used a smartboard, so at this point my preference is powerpoint because that's what I have and can use. The lesson sounds really good.

Mrs. Kennedy,
Sorry about that! I think TpT was down for maintenance at some point today. Here's the link you can cut and copy if you need to.
